It's official, The Saksa Twins are One!!! Can you believe it?? Our Babies are growing up so fast and learning so much!
During this month the boys were 100% off the bottle, Switched to whole milk, got their first pair of walking shoes and introduced to all table food and no more baby food! They also had their first Plane ride and trip to the beach! Both boys are still attached to their pacifier! Alex seems to be more attached than Andy. We have also been very lucky and haven't found any foods that the boys are allergic to yet!
Andy took those first steps and was walking around everywhere by the end of the month. He is so cute sticking that chest out and hands up for balance with those chunky thighs! Love those fat rolls though! Andy now has 6 teeth, 4 on the top and 2 on the bottom. Some of his favorite things to eat are veggies, chicken, fries and now fish! So far the only thing that he doesn't like is potato salad!
Alex still continued to crawl around and chase his brother around! He has started saying "thank you" in the sweetest voice ever! He has started turning around in a circle on his bottom and when you ask him something and he doesn't like it he will turn away from you! Alex has 4 teeth, 2 on top and 2 on bottom.
Some of his favorite things to eat are veggies, cookies, fries, and any type of meat and including steak!
This month we added a few things to our bedtime routine since the boys were no longer on bottles. We would begin our routine at 6:45pm. Bath and then watch our video, take medicines and then brush our teeth. After that it was off to their room for a bedtime story and prayers. I have always said the same thing to them every night before leaving the room "Mommy and Daddy loves you as high as the sky and as deep as the ocean" I would turn on their music and close the door. This actually worked out really well they would be in bed by 8 at night and most nights I didn't have any trouble with them crying. :) They are such sweet boys!
Here are some pictures from this month:
I had saved and frozen the rest of their smash cakes from there birthday party a month back so they could enjoy them on their real birthday....They had a blast!
A few days after our birthday we hopped on a plane to head to the beach in Panama City Beach, FL. The boys did really well on both plane trips.
We spent a week at the beach and the boys were more into the pool rather than the beach. But here are some pictures :)
More beach...
