7 months old- week 1

The boys turned 7 months old on Christmas day! We had so many first this week! First Christmas, visit to Olla, La to see their great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother and Aunts. Alex rolled over from his Belly to his Back, Andy had surgery, found his feet,started attempting to really hold his own bottle and started getting on his hands and knees and rocking! It is amazing how fast they are changing. Andrew is now in size 3 diapers and Alex is in size 2. Andrew weighs close to 17 1/2-18 lbs and Alex is a little more than 15lbs. The boys are drinking 7-8oz bottles and eating more baby food now. We are introduced Juice once a day and the boys received sippy cups for Christmas. Andrew does well with his since he is starting to hold his bottle but still doesn't understand that you have to hold the cup up. Alex is just not ready to start using the cup yet but I know he will get there soon.

Gamma and Poppa came to spend Christmas with us this year.

The boys had Christmas with Nona on Christmas Eve. Auntie B, Uncle Ryan and Ashton were there too. The boys enjoyed the first few gifts and then were overwhelmed and Mom and Dad had to open the rest of their gifts. But the boys enjoyed their toys later at home.

Christmas Morning came and Santa visited the boys. They woke up and we put them on the floor to see their new toys!

After Christmas Nona and I took the boys to Olla, La to meet their Great Great Grandmother, Granny Blake who is 98! There they also meet their Great Great Aunts Francis and Sally and visit with their Great Grandmother, Maw-Maw Peggy.

Five Generations!

This week Andrew had his surgery. He actually did really well and didn't seem to be in much pain. Here are some photos of him from that day.

The same day Alex has a doctors appointment for a follow up on his wheezing. He is continuing to wheeze. We are now on a steroid medication through breathing treatments twice a day and hoping that his wheezing will improve. Here is a picture of him at the Dr that day. He now weighs 15#13oz.

New Years Eve G-momma Mer and Uncle Ben came to visit and give the boys their Christmas gifts!

That brings us to today....New years day 2011! Andrew decided to start getting ready to crawl and got on his hands and knees and started rocking! I was able to catch a photo and video!
