So this was a very busy week for the boys! We got them a swing set for their 1st birthday complete with a slide and 2 toddler swings of course! This week Tim, Uncle Lyle and I worked really hard to have it put together by party day and we got it done 2 days early! Now Yes, the boys are only 10 months old but Daddy will be leaving in a week for Afghanistan for a year long deployment and we decided to have their first birthday party a little early so that he could be a part of this special day.
While we were getting the swing set put together Alex took his first steps to his daddy in the fort! He hasn't taken anymore since but that is okay. Tim will always have the memory that Alex walked to him first, a whole 2 steps unassisted! But he has decided that this week he wanted to crawl for the first time too!! He went after a passy on the floor with Daddy. Mommy actually missed it but we were able to catch him crawling a little later. He moves one knee and drags the other foot and leg but he doesn't mind it gets him were he wants to be!

But it wasn't long and he would get a handle on how to crawl normal!

Gamma and Poppa sent us a wagon for our first birthday and boy do we LOVE it! Daddy pulled us along in the yard for a while and we really enjoyed it.
And if that wasn't enough excitement Daddy put our swings up and we got to test those out!

So with all our new toys put together all that was left to do was have a Party!!!
