The Saksa Twins: 5 Months Old-week 1

The boys are 5 months old! They are changing so fast! This week we went for our 5 month check up. Andy weighs 15lbs! and Alex weighs 13#7oz! They are getting so big!

While at the Dr we were given a clean bill of health and we got the okay to start on baby food! So we are to start green food first and then yellows and oranges.So after the Dr we took our first trip to the fair with Aunt Holly and cousin D. Here are some shots from the fair!

After the fair it was off to the store to get the babies some baby food. We started out with green beans.

Andy was the first to try it out. He seemed to really enjoy eating something that is different from formula and rice cereal or oatmeal.

Then it was Alex's turn. The first day he was all smiles when he ate it but the second day not so much! Maybe I caught him at a bad time because when we tried it again for the second day he seemed to like it then.

On Sat we got to visit some with the boys Great Grandmother "Maw-Maw Peggy". She really enjoyed spending time with the boys. Here is a picture of her and Alex.

And then it was Halloween!!! We dressed the boys up and went trick or treating with cousin Ashton and Peyton. The boys obviously didn't care to much about it this year so we took a walk for a little bit and then headed home. Here are some pictures from Halloween.
