All week this week Gamma (Tim's Mom) came and stayed with the boys. It was so nice to have the help but the boys were not used to that routine at all and boy did we pay for it at night! They did not sleep all night long at all, all week. (which was rough on the adults that couldn't take naps.) Hopefully once we are feeling better and get back into our everyday routine things will settle down and they will sleep better.
On Wednesday Andrew started acting like he wasn't feeling very well and so with the congestion, coughing and fussiness we were off to the doctor. (that and Gamma said he needed to go). Alex got to stay home with Gamma so some one-on-one time and Andrew had Momma all to himself for a while. Andrew weighed in at 15#15oz and can home with a cold and a right ear infection again. So he was started on 10 days of Antibiotics and breathing treatments as needed. (which thank goodness he has needed any). After a few days of antibiotics Andrew was feeling better but at about 6pm on Friday Alex started to not feel good. he coughing and the wheezing had returned and he was very congested. Gamma thought that he was running fever because he was staying so warm. Even after a breathing treatment he was still wheezing and coughing. So Saturday morning Alex and I were off to the doctor again. While we were waiting in the waiting room i caught a video of him playing with the toys on his car-seat for the first time.

Alex weighed in at 13#13oz and we went through many test to find out what was wrong. After an RSV test, chest x-ray, and blood work we were told we had another viral infection and she changed up some of the breathing treatment medications. For a while we will now do a breathing treatment twice a day of Pulmicourt. Hoping that will cut down on the number of treatments during the day for wheezing while he is sick. Here is a picture of the boys last night and one of Alex watching TV and taking his breathing treatment.
Today the boys are doing much better and are dressed in their stealer onesies. Alex has not had to have any breathing treatments for wheezing and I haven't had to give either of them a decongestant today. Daddy is at drill until tonight so we are having lunch with Aunt Shirlee and Uncle Lyle and then dinner tonight with Ned, Bridgitte and family. Maybe I can keep them awake tonight until 8 so their sleep patterns won't as as off tomorrow as the were this morning. 5 am comes early! Here are some pictures from the week.
